I love theme parks.  This site is a way to share that love with other fans or future fans. The goal here is to provide information and perhaps entertainment.  As the vacation planner in our family, I know just how important it is to maximize vacation time and budget.  Sharing what we have learned about maximizing vacations – making them simpler & more fun with a eye on value for cost – drives this site.

Some might ask – why a blog when many of these suggestions are already available in my books? Well, the books (A Year of Disney, Camping Disney and Building Awesome Vacations) work well for some. But not everyone wants to read books.  Also, some things simply didn’t fit or flow correctly in the books.  And still other things are easier to explain by adding photos or video. This site provides a way to share this that simply isn’t possible with the books.
